Mission Statement and Goals

Our mission:

"To achieve excellence in responding to the needs and aspirations and promoting the interests of the Polish Australian community and other linked communities within a multicultural Australia."

Our goals:

• To provide and develop culturally and linguistically appropriate social welfare services, which contribute to the well being of members of the community;
• To ensure equal access to all services that may be required giving priority to people experiencing hardship, disability, discrimination or injustice;
• To research, document, promote and represent the needs of the Polish Australian community to the general community and to government and non-government agencies;
• To provide expert consultancy regarding the Polish Australian community and other service providers;
• To negotiate and cooperate with government, other agencies and Polish organisations for the benefit of the community as a whole;
• To implement community development policies and programs to better meet the needs of the Polish Australian community and of multicultural Australia as a whole;
• To provide information and community education on a broad range of issues for the Polish Australian community.
